Gina Barillaro is a fourth year teacher in Union Public Schools. She was previously a Pre-school and Special Education teacher, and now teaches a combined Pre-K/Kindergarten class. She was a consultant for the CEA student program, and currently serves as Secretary for her school’s union. She also started the Pre-K program and PBIS program at her school. Barillaro has an Early Childhood Education degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Masters of Arts in Education with a concentration in Reading at Sacred Heart University while completing an internship at Long Hill School in Shelton.
